The Dodgers are set to call up top prospect Dalton Rushing for his MLB debut, a source told MLB.com’s Sonja Chen. The club has not confirmed.
Ranked as MLB Pipeline’s No. 15 overall prospect, the 24-year-old catcher/outfielder is off to a hot start at Triple-A Oklahoma City, batting .308/.424/.514 with five homers and 17 RBIs.
According to FanSided’s Robert Murray, the Dodgers plan to designate catcher Austin Barnes to make room for Rushing on the roster.
